What grants you may apply for within Uniarts Helsinki.
You may apply for several grants within Uniarts Helsinki. E-mail is the most important channel we will use to inform all students of the application period.

General grants for tuition fees
Uniarts Helsinki has grants for covering a part of the annual tuition fees. Additionally, first year Master’s degree students can get a Finland scholarships that covers the tuition fee of the first academic year and 5000 euros to cover for relocation and other expenses. Finland Scholarships are awarded only for new admitted students who start their studies 1 January 2022 – 1 August 2024.
Academy of Fine Arts’ grants
As a student at the Academy of Fine Arts, you can apply for the academy’s general grant, a materials grant or a thesis grant.
Sibelius Academy’s grants
The Sibelius Academy Foundation awards grants that contribute towards the completion of studies and to students that have graduated in the target schedule.
Theatre Academy’s grants
The Theatre Academy’s grants are meant for activities promoting the student’s progression in their studies. The student should be an attending bachelor’s and master’s degree student or a doctoral student. You can apply for a grant either as a private person or as part of a group.

Student exchange funding
You may receive student financial aid for studies abroad that are part of your degree programme.
If you are pursuing a course related to your studies (e.g., exchange studies) abroad, you may be eligible for a housing supplement for those studying abroad.
Erasmus+ and Nordplus grants
Those leaving for a student exchange through the Erasmus+ and Nordplus programmes will be awarded a grant. The amount of the grant will be based on the duration and the destination of the exchange.
Ask your academy’s planning officer of international affairs about the Erasmus+ and Nordplus grants.
