Welcome to the Sibelius Academy Foundation’s grant info on Wednesday 3.12.2025 at 15-16 in Teams (join the scholarship info here). In the info session, you will receive more details about the available grants and tips for preparing your grant application.

The grants currently open for application are the following:

Sibelius Academy Foundation Project Grant

The grant project must increase the impact of the Sibelius Academy’s activities and benefit the Academy’s teaching, research or artistic activities. Sibelius Academy degree students (undergraduate and postgraduate studies), students and staff of the Junior Academy can submit an application in the Aspicore system during the application period 27.11. – 10.12.2025 by 4 p.m.

Sibelius Academy Foundation Student Grants

Student grants are awarded to degree students and Junior Academy students for the purpose of promoting their studies. The application can be submitted in the Aspicore system during the application period 27.11.2026 – 23.1.2026 by 4 p.m.

Difference between a project grant and a student grant                      

Project grants are primarily awarded for projects that benefit the university and the community. Student grants are awarded for purposes that benefit the individual (the student’s personal progress in studies).

Graduation scholarships

Graduation scholarships will henceforth be awarded automatically twice a year, in June and December, to students who graduate within the target time, based on information received from the study administration.
