PARTYTUURI is back. Are you ready?

SibA United will conquer Agora, as the long-awaited PARTYTUURI will happen again! This year, the event will be organized as part of Sibafest. PARTYTUURI is a celebration for all SibA students, where we gather to celebrate the joy of music across department and genre lines! The event will take place on 23.1.2026 at 17:00 at Agora, M-House. 

What’s the hype about?

Well, according to the rumors from last year PARTYTUURI featured some accordion-drum’n bass and vibraphone-syna-garage grooves, among other cool performances. Our evening culminated in a fusion program by a 20-player orchestra composed of six different departments, where Tschaikovsky, Vivaldi and Bizet got a ride…  

Applications for the 2026 PARTYTUURI are now open!

We are looking for performers from various ensembles and players who swear by danceable tempos – breaking genre rules and shaking the traditional ways of delivering music as an art form.  

You can use THIS FORM apply to perform at the event. You can apply to perform with the following options (and/or):  

1. With your own ready-made lineup – Do you have a ready-made group and program plan? Apply now! 
2. As a musician looking for your own collaboorative group – Are you bursting with ideas, but don’t yet have an ensemble? We will do our best to find a match for your idea! 
3. PARTYTUURI orchestra – Come be part of the heart of the party, Partytuuri Symphony Orchestra! All musicians are welcome and the arrangements will be written based on the instrument selection. Reading western notation is definitely a benefit, but not required for you to tag along.

The deadline for applications is open until 23.11.2025. This call is open for SibA students.

WHAT? A party for the whole of SibA! Dance-paced music, genre fusion and collaborative ensembles! Alcohol-free event, with snacks and drinks for the fastest..🍪  
WHERE? At Agora, 1st floor of the Musiikkitalo campus.  
WHEN? January 23, 2026 starting at 5pm  
WHY? So that we can break the parallel realities of our campuses, meet each other across the departments, have fun with music and make memories! 
FOR WHOM? FOR YOU – and for all SibA students and teachers ❤️
