A total of 115 masters and doctors registered for Uniarts Helsinki’s conferment ceremony
Uniarts Helsinki’s conferment ceremony for masters and doctors will be held on 16–18 August 2024. The conferment ceremony celebrates art as well as education and research in the arts, of which we are proud and which we want to be seen and heard in society now and in the future.
Registration for the master’s and doctoral conferment ceremony ended on Friday, 31 May 2024. A total of 115 alumni registered for the conferment ceremony, of whom 52 are doctors and 63 are masters.
Number of registered participants by academies:
- Academy of Fine Arts: 6 doctors and 8 masters
- Theatre Academy: 6 doctors and 3 masters
- Sibelius Academy: 40 doctors and 52 masters
Programme
The conferment ceremony is a three-day event of joyful living and celebration, which will entail academic traditions such as the conferment act at the Helsinki Music Centre, as well as uplifting speeches and a spectacular dinner and ball at the Old Student House. The ceremony is a unique experience that will give its participants treasured memories long into the future.
