Apply for KiVANET’s language courses by 12th January
KiVANET, a network of Finnish universities, offers web-based language courses on different skill levels in spring 2025. Uniarts Helsinki has a student quota for KiVANET courses.
There are 13 languages and UniTandem studies included in the spring semester courses:
- Arabic
- Chinese
- Estonian
- French
- German
- Hungarian (you can register for this Uniarts course on Peppi!)
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Portuguese
- Russian
- Spanish
- Finnish sign language
Please note that the language of instruction can also be Finnish. You will find the language of instruction in the respective course description.

KiVANET’s online language courses can be used as optional studies in your degree. Courses in Spanish, Italian, French, German and Russian, at min. level B1, can also be used as foreign language studies in the Bachelor’s degree. You can ask for guidance from kielet@uniarts.fi.
