Registration for the 15th Helmi Vesa Piano Competition is open

The application period ends on 31.1.2026 and the next competition will be held on 5 to 8 March 2026.

About Helmi Vesa Piano Competition

The Helmi Vesa Piano Competition is open to Junior Academy students and Sibelius Academy Classical Music piano majors who have not yet completed a master’s degree. Applicants must be registered as attending students. This includes exchange students studying at the Sibelius Academy during the spring semester of 2026. 

Please note that students who have already been awarded prizes in this competition on three separate occasions during their bachelor’s or master’s studies are no longer eligible.
