Italian philosopher Emanuele Coccia, known for his knowledge of nature and particularly the lives of plants, will hold a public lecture on Wednesday, 20 September 2023, at the invitation of Uniarts Helsinki’s Academy of Fine Arts and the Saastamoinen Foundation. The title of the lecture is Don’t Call Me Gaia. Notes For a Planetary Art.

Uniarts Helsinki´s students, researchers and personel can secure their place at the event by reserving a seat through pre-registration. There is 80 seats available for reservation. Once you have signed up, please arrive at the venue in between 4:30 and 4:45 p.m. Those who have registered in advance will be allowed into the hall during this time slot, after which the rest of the public will enter and advance seats will no longer be kept reserved. Note that it is not possible to enter as the lecture has started, so please arrive in time.
