The Sibelius ACademy ranked 13th in the 2026 QS University Rankings by subject
Music institutions were evaluated in their own category for the first time in 2024. This year, the Juilliard School in New York topped the list, and the Sibelius Academy continues to hold an impressive position among the world’s best.
The subject-specific assessments in the annual QS Quacquarelli Symonds university rankings are based on surveys conducted with university teachers and researchers, as well as the higher education and employer sectors. Institutions cannot evaluate themselves. In the arts, QS assessments are formed from the evaluations of academic experts and employers.
