Uniarts Helsinki Library published a new collection policy
The collection policy guides the library’s material acquisitions
The Uniarts Helsinki Library has updated its collection policy, which come into effect on 10 October 2025. The aim is to ensure the availability of high-quality and sustainable materials to support Uniarts Helsinki’s teaching, research and artistic work.
The key principles of the collection policy are user-centredness, transparency, openness of resources, ecological sustainability, inclusiveness, and ethical practices.
The policy is based on Uniarts Helsinki’s strategy as well as national and international library sector guidelines.
