We invite you, member of the Uniarts Helsinki community, to join us in contributing to our university’s sustainability and responsibility work. You are warmly welcome to Uniarts Helsinki’s first Sustainability Day on Monday, 2 March 2026, from 13:00 to 16:00 on the Sörnäinen campus.

- 13:15 Discussion: Author Iida Turpeinen & Professor Mikael Brygger: When Science Alone Is Not Enough: Art, Nature and the Changing Worldview (discussion in English)

Topics for discussion in the workshops:
- What is the significance of art in the ecological sustainability crisis?
- What does ecologically sustainable art consist of?
- The ecological crisis and the risks of instrumentalisation of art
- How can ecological practices be rethought at Uniarts Helsinki?
