University of the Arts introduces electronic diplomas

The electronic diploma can be downloaded from Peppi from the day of graduation.

The official diploma will be electronic from autumn 2023 onwards. You will receive an electronic diploma upon graduation.

With the change, diplomas will become even more reliable, as the authenticity of an electronic certificate can be more reliably verified than a paper certificate. In addition, the storage of the electronic diploma is easier and the use of the certificate in electronic application processes is even smoother. In appearance, the electronic diploma corresponds to the current paper diploma and contains all the parts of the previous paper diploma: the cover page of the certificate, the transcript and the Diploma Supplement.

The electronic diploma can be downloaded from Peppi from the day of graduation. You can find the certificate from Peppi on the Student’s desktop, in the Atomi service. You can save the electronic diploma in your own files, for example on a computer, memory stick or cloud service. You can download the certificate from Peppi until your Uniarts user ID expires.

The diploma is electronically signed by the dean or vice dean. The electronic signature meets the highest EU-level requirements. You can make copies of the diploma and the electronic signature will be preserved in the copies. Thus, the certificate can also be saved in several places. The University of the Arts archives diplomas in an electronic archive. If the electronic diploma you downloaded is lost, you can request the certificate again from the study services.
