Admission guides for the Academy of Fine Arts spring 2025 admissions are published
The admission guides for the Academy of Fine Arts spring 2025 admissions are now available on Uniarts Helsinki’s website.
In the first joint application to higher education for Spring 2025, the following programmes at the Academy of Fine Arts are open for applications:
- Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts (3.5 + 2 years)
- Contemporary art history and theory, bachelor (3 years)
- Praxis – Master’s Programme in Curating and Writing in Contemporary Art (2 years)
Changes in the Academy of Fine Arts admissions:
- The language profiency requirement for Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts (3.5 + 2 years) programme has been changed to level B2 from level B1.
- Praxis master’s programme has been renewed. The programme has a new name and a revised curriculum. From now on, the programme is open for applications every year in January’s first joint application to higher education.
- The background education requirement for Praxis master’s programme has been changed. All applicants are required to have a lower higher education degree from 2025 onwards.
The Spring 2025 application period begins on Jan. 8 and ends Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. (Finnish time).
