Free tickets for music students to the Jean Sibelius Violin competition
We are delighted to invite all students of the Sibelius Academy and professional music students from other educational institutions to attend the 1st and 2nd rounds of the The 13th Jean Sibelius Violin Competition, which will be held in the concert hall of the Sibelius Academy’s R Building 19.-21.5. (1st rounds) and 23.-25.5. (2nd rounds)
Tickets for the Sibelius Academy students available from May 12
Free tickets for Sibelius Academy students for the 1st and 2nd rounds of the competition will be available from Monday, May 12, 2025.
Tickets for all professional music students from May 14
Free tickets for professional music students from any educational institution for the 1st and 2nd rounds of the competition are available from Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Important notice about instrument cases
To ensure optimal conditions for each competitor and to avoid unnecessary noise from falling cases, instrument cases — including violin cases — are not allowed in the audience area. Please leave your instrument cases at home. Thank you for your understanding!
