Hearing protection fittings 10.10. at 9–16 at the Helsinki Music Centre
Uniarts Helsinki annually procures hearing protectors jointly.
The protector to be purchased is Orelo Fidelity, which dampens sound evenly and is therefore particularly suitable for those who work with music. Orelo Fidelity protectors are made individually according to the mold taken from the ear. A moulding / fitting event will be held for this purpose on 10.10.2023 from 9-16 in space S-3101 at the Helsinki Music Centre.
Cost of hearing protectors
All first-year students are entitled to standard earplugs (HiFi or “musician’s” earplugs) paid by the university or personal custom-moulded earplugs for €130, when the joint university-level order is placed in September-October (the university pays €20 of the price).
After the first year of studies, students can purchase custom-moulded earplugs for the price of €150. The price is lower for first-year students, because due to budget reasons, the university can only sponsor the purchase of earplugs for new students.
