Language Guidelines are prepared for the university – the community’s views are collected with a survey

Preparing the language guidelines has begun. The community’s views are collected with a survey.

The University of the Arts Helsinki (Uniarts) does not currently have articulated language guidelines shared by the whole university. The Executive Board of the Uniarts has recognized the importance of the matter and has asked the Vice Rector of Education to prepare the guidelines.

Preparing the language guidelines has begun. The goal is a shared operating model, that will encourage multilingualism at the university. Functioning language guidelines serve, enable and strengthen the diversity and accessibility of the art community.

The views and observations of our community are needed to support the preparatory work. The personnel and students of the university can now participate by answering a survey. The survey is answered anonymously and it takes about 10 minutes. You may get to the survey with this link.
