Kekri, a multidisciplinary feast – Sign up for the multi-arts course in August!
Join us for the multidisciplinary course Kekri, a multidisciplinary feast (3 cr) in August. This intensive course is open to all bachelor’s and master’s students of Uniarts Helsinki. Register in Peppi by Friday 6 June.
Kekri, a multidisciplinary feast
The theme of the course is Kekri, a multidisciplinary autumn feast. The party brings us students and teachers together around the same table. Anything can happen at a party! Kekri is a closing ceremony and at the same time the opening of the new academic year. The course brings together Uniarts Helsinki’s different fields of art and their students.
Through joint activities, multisensory cooperation and discussion between the arts are built and examined. The work is concrete and practical. Students share their own work process and get to know the practices and artistic thinking of other fields of art.
Participants in the Non-degree pedagogical studies for teachers in the arts implement this course as part of their teaching practice. The supervising teacher is University Lecturer Heli Kauppila.
Teaching takes place on the Sörnäinen campus Mon–Fri 11–15 August between 9 am and 4 pm.
