Register for Sibafest events by 19.1.
Aimed at the entire Sibelius Academy community and partly also the general public, the programme for Sibafest 26-27 January has now been finalised.

In addition to participatory workshops and concerts, discussions, encounters and the Agora’s opening and closing events have also found their place. The Siba Tower will host a wide range of events – on every floor, and the halls of the Musiikkitalo will also be available.
Everyone at the Sibelius Academy is warmly welcome to participate in all events, even if you are not a musician. Check out the programme, book the dates in your diary and register by 19 January!
Don’t forget to vote for Siba Person of the Year and sign up to meet new people at Siba-dating!

The opening and closing events of Sibafest will be a time to meet, relax and jam
The opening ceremony, the kick off of Sibafest, will take place on Friday 26.1. from 10-10.45 am at Agora. While sipping coffee, we will hear presentations about the upcoming programme and information about the day. Dean Emilie Gardberg will present the awards to the Siba Person of the Year. Siba-dating meetings will also start in Agora. From the event, it will be easy to move on to the workshops, concerts and activities starting at 11am in the Siba Tower and in the halls on the Music Hall side. Presenters will be Merzi Rajala and Janne Ikäheimo.
At the closing event from 6-9 pm you can join The large orchestra of Nth Instruments
in the Alalämpiö, or participate in Mikko Heikinpoja’s improvised all-style DJ jams on your own instrument in the Dance Studio. There will also be snacks and birdsong in the discussion lounge area, the “hygge agora”, from 7 pm.
Welcome to Sibafest!
