Register for the academic year 2024-2025 by 12 August 2024

Registration takes place in the OILI service: https://oili.csc.fi/continuing-students/. You need a Uniarts Helsinki username and password to register.

You can check the amount of the membership fee on the Student Union website

In case you cannot register in OILI, you can use a registration form and deliver it with the student union fee payment receipts to your own academy by encrypted email.

If you are a bachelor’s or a master’s student, you must pay the student union membership fee in connection with the registration. Doctoral students are free to choose whether they want to pay the fee and gain membership in the student union.

You can complete studies only as an attending student. You must register as an attending or a non-attending student also for the academic term when you are graduating. You may register for non-attendance and still graduate only if you have completed all the studies required for your degree and submitted your thesis project for examination during the previous academic term. If you are planning to complete exchange studies or a traineeship abroad, you must register as an attending student.

Please note that registration information is transferred to other authorities (e.g. HSL, YTHS) only when the new academic term has started (August 1 or January 1), and the information is typically visible to them the day or two after registration at the earliest (and not yet in the morning). We recommend that you make the registration well before the end of the current academic term!

More information about the registration can be found at

https://student.uniarts.fi/guides/registration-for-the-academic-year/, on the Student Union web pages and by email from our own academy:

Please note you cannot register in OILI if you have to pay the Uniarts tuition fee.

Please check also that your information is up to date in Peppi.
