Come work as a volunteer at ISME 2024 conference in July!
We look for Uniarts students and personnel to represent our university in an international conference.
Uniarts is responsible for arranging the 36th World Conference of the International Society for Music Education (ISME) during July 28-August 2, 2024. We expect to have about 1300 participants to the conference, travelling from all over the world to Helsinki. The venues are in Töölönlahti area; Helsinki Music Centre, Little Finlandia and Scandic Park and Crowne Plaza hotels. In addition to the scientific programme there will be a lot of music events during the conference.
We need a lot of volunteers to help with different tasks, such as guiding the guests at info desks, halls, and meeting rooms. We also need helpers in guiding the international performer groups during their concert days.
Join us to welcome the international guests and represent Uniarts!
The conference is a good opportunity to build networks with pedagogues, researchers, and students. Your reward will be free participation in the conference (1 working day = 1 day free participation). You are also allowed to participate in all musical events included in the conference programme.
Please complete the Surveypal form by the end of March. We will arrange an info session for the volunteers in April-May.
