String Instrument loan terms and conditions updated, instrument application now open
Based on student feedback, the Sibelius Academy has clarified the principles for granting instrument loans. The aim is to make the criteria and principles even more open and transparent in the future. These changes are intended to strengthen the fairness of the instrument loan system and to support students’ studies in the best possible way.
From now on, the granting of instrument loans will take into account not only previous merits and technical proficiency, but also academic progress and commitment. In addition, the loan period will be subject to practices designed to ensure the advancement of studies and graduation within the target time frame. The rules governing instrument loans have been updated by decision of the Vice Dean.
