Student, sign up for a joint course where you will prepare a performance for the conferment ceremony’s Gala of the Arts
During the course, students will prepare a 15-minute performance which takes place on 16th of August 2024 at the Gala of the Arts, which is held in the big hall of Musiikkitalo. Gala of the Arts is part of the conferment ceremony.
The performance will include students from all three Uniarts academies. We are looking for actors, dancers, and performers from the Theatre Academy, artists from the Academy of Fine Arts, and from the Sibelius Academy, a violinist, cellist, woodwind player and a percussionist. Students must register for the course and submit a letter of motivation by 10.3.
Students participating in this course must commit to the following schedule:
- March-April: approximately 5 rehearsals at the Theatre Academy. Rehearsals are held every other week.
- 5.–8.5. rehearsing period in Kallio-Kuninkala
- 4.6. rehearsals in the big concert hall
- 5.-9.8. and 12.-16.8. final preparations and performance
Performers will receive 150 euros in compensation.
