Uniarts Helsinki campaigns for student mental health with campus events on 11 and 12 March 2026 at 11–13
The Students’ Mental Health Week campaign will run from 9 to 15 March 2026. The campaign is coordinated by Nyyti ry, and the goal is to raise people’s awareness of students’ mental health situation and to promote a student culture that is more kind to mental health.
This year, the theme for the Mental Health Week is faith in the future. The campaign hopes to support students’ faith in the future and bring light to topics that affect it negatively. We want to highlight hope, meaningfulness and the power of community – things that strengthen our faith in the future.
Mental Health week events on campus on 11 and 12 March
Uniarts Helsinki will organise its own pop-up events on Wednesday, 11 March, at 11–13 at the Theatre Academy Tori courtyard and on Thursday, 12 March, at 11–13 in the Agora Hall at the Helsinki Music Centre.
The events are a chance to share your thoughts on what brings you hope and what worries you have. Coffee and tea will be served. Participants can write their thoughts and ideas on what actions can bring people hope on an idea wall.
The event organisers are study psychologists Sanna Vuorinen and Outi Rämö and university chaplain Lisa Enckell. They will also be present at the event together with the Student Union.
So stop by whenever suits you best and have a chat over a free cup of coffee or tea!
