Free tickets for students to Uniarts Helsinki’s events
Students at Uniarts Helsinki may attend performances at the Sibelius Academy’s and Theatre Academy’s own facilities free of charge. Exhibitions in the Academy of Fine Arts’ own galleries are always free of charge.
Sibelius Academy events
The student card gives one person free entry to the Sibelius Academy’s events that have an admission fee.
Concert halls Black Box, Sonore, Camerata and Organo
The concert usher gives out tickets at the guest counter in the lower foyer of the Music Centre when you have presented your student ID card or attendance certificate. Ticket distribution starts one hour before the start of the concert. A quota of free tickets is reserved for each event, from which tickets will be distributed until the quota is full. Tickets cannot be booked in advance.
Helsinki Music Centre main concert hall
The seats for staff and students are on the balcony, unless otherwise instructed. You cannot apply for a free ticket beforehand. Check with the concert producer whether the season ticket entitles you to enter. You can find the producer’s contact information in our event calendar in connection with the event.
Sibelius Academy Symphony Orchestra’s concerts
A limited number of complimentary tickets are reserved for students and staff of Uniarts Helsinki. Tickets cannot be reserved in advance. The ticket can be redeemed either through the link on the concert-specific news article in Teams (Uniarts community), or collected on the day of the concert one hour before the concert begins from the main foyer at the guest desk. Please be prepared to verify your identity with a student ID card or attendance certificate.
Concerts outside of the Helsinki Music Centre
Check with the concert producer whether the season ticket entitles you to enter. You can find the producer’s contact information in our event calendar in connection with the event.
Theatre Academy performances
The student card or a certificate of attendance entitles you to two free tickets (card holder + guest) to all performances at the Theatre Academy. The free tickets are booked using the electronic ticket booking system. When booking, select the ticket type Uniarts ticket. Tickets can be reserved for each performance through the event calendar.
Cannot make it to the event after all? Our venues are small but interest is big so we appreciate if you cancel your ticket so that your seat can be used by someone else.
