About us
The department for music management and orchestra and choir activities coordinates music management education, the orchestra activities of the Faculty of Classical Music and the choir of the Sibelius Academy. The study units included in them are implemented by the department’s support service team, or the orchestra office.
We also coordinate concert master and audition training and apprenticeship activities with professional orchestras.
Orchestra sheet music collection
The Sibelius Academy orchestra sheet music collection, where the orchestra sheet music is collected from, is located on the second floor of the Helsinki Music Centre, room K-2223.
You can pick up notes at a time suitable for you, but the road & stage managers or the music librarian can only be met during the on-call hours indicated on the door of the library.
