Fire safety equipment testing at R building on 24 June from 10:00 to 14:00

Fire safety equipment will be tested at the Töölö campus R building (Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 9) on Wednesday, 24 June from 10:00 to 14:00. The testing will cause temporary disturbance to the use of the facilities.

During testing, fire alarms may sound in the premises, and other disruptive activity may occur in the building, such as visits by maintenance personnel to the premises. The alarms are part of planned testing, and there is no need to evacuate the building because of them.

The facilities can be used normally during the testing. However, the noise may interfere particularly with instrument practice and work that requires concentration, so this should be taken into account when planning the day.
