IN.TUNE call for student-led projects: 3rd edition

Connect, create and collaborate across borders 

Through IN.TUNE, you have the opportunity to develop innovative student-led projects that address gaps in your professional experience or community — both at your institution and across our alliance partners.   

Apply for funding to collaborate with fellow students if you have a project idea relevant to students in different IN.TUNE institutions and contributing to one or more of these aims: 

  • Establishing collaboration between students across the IN.TUNE-institutions 
  • Testing new and innovative ways of utilising digital tools for learning and collaborating 
  • Preparing students for their future careers 
  • Providing learning opportunities that you think are missing in your programme today 

Timeline 

  • Early October 2026: Call open 
  • October 15, 2026 at 3 p.m. CET: Information & match-making event 1 
  • November 11, 2026 at 3 p.m. CET: Information & match-making event 2: 
  • November 20, 2026: Deadline for applications:  
  • Results are expected by the end of the year 2026 
  • Selected projects: signing of the project commitment in January 2027  
  • Project implementation: Spring semester 2027 (with the possibility of continuing in autumn semester 2027) 

Who can apply? 

The call is open for all students enrolled in the academic year 2026 -2027 at any study cycle (BA, MA, Doctoral) in one of the eight IN. TUNE partner institutions.  

What kind of support can you receive? 

You can apply for up to EUR 2500 in order to cover – for example – operational costs, paying advisors/mentors, promotion, travelling expenses, production,   renting premises, etc. 

How to apply?  

You can apply by filling the application form. The application should include the followings:  

  • A short summary of the project   
  • Project description including information about what you want to explore or try out, and why.  
  • How the project will be carried out, with methods/procedures and schedule.  
  • Which people will be involved and what their roles will be.  
  • What will be the outcomes of the project.  
  • Ideas about how the outcomes of the project can be shared.  
  • Realistic budget (template available)  

Selection criteria and procedure 

The selection of the projects will be made by representatives from all partner institutions, based on the following:  

– The project plan’s alignment to the aims of the Call : 

  • establishing collaboration between students across the IN. TUNE-institutions  
  • testing new and innovative ways of utilising digital tools for learning and collaborating  
  • preparing students for their future careers  
  • providing learning opportunities that you think are missing in your programme today  

– Feasibility of the project plan  
– Budget: The cost estimate in relation to the project objectives and measures should be justified and reasonable.  

The Committee of the IN. TUNE Work Package 2 (Seamless mobility for students and staff) in collaboration with the academic staff of the member institutions will assess all the applications.  Feedback to any application can be provided upon request.
