During the 2022–2023 academic year, the different needs of Kallio-Kuninkala entrepreneurs, Uniarts Helsinki and Kunkkula’s outside renters have been revised and harmonised.
What is new?
- Kallio-Kuninkala’s price list and booking principles have been updated
- New booking practices established to facilitate use of the Kallio-Kuninkala premises
- Meals must also be booked in connection with booking the premises

Familiarise yourself with the Kallio-Kuninkala premises, their furnishings and equipment and the booking situation in Peppi
Kallio-Kuninkala’s reservable premises are now available for browsing in Peppi as are all the other Uniarts Helsinki facilities. This makes it easier to, for example, take a look at their availability. In Peppi, you can find out what kind of premises Kallio-Kuninkala offers, what they are furnished with and whether they are available for the time you want.
- Browse the premises in Peppi according to your role: Student, Planning Officer or Teacher.
- Remember that you are not able to make the bookings through Peppi, though.
- Book the Kallio-Kuninkala premises using the new form
- A form has been created for Uniarts Helsinki students and employees which you can use to book Kallio-Kuninkala premises centrally. Remember to take a look at the instructions and booking principles before making a booking!
Report a public event to communications
If you arrange a public concert or other performance or public event for example at the end of your course, you can report it to communications using the form, which is available on the Artsi page.
Extensive research and planning to facilitate practices
In autumn 2022 and spring 2023, different processes related to the use of Kallio-Kuninkala premises were discussed by two different working groups: an advisory group and a project group. The aim was to clarify and facilitate the usability of the premises and to increase awareness of Kallio-Kuninkala at Uniarts Helsinki.
