Open new worlds with languages! In the cross-institutional study service, you can find a wider range of language courses.

Are you interested in languages? Is English not enough? Uniarts Helsinki students can choose language courses also from other Finnish higher education institutions!

Uniarts Helsinki is involved in two different language networks, which offer a wide range of different language studies. You can study Spanish, Japanese, Danish or Estonian, for example.

Apply for language network courses directly in Peppi through the Cross-Institutional Learning Service (“ristiinopiskelupalvelu” aka RIPA). You can find the studies in the PSP tool on the Study selection tab by adding new studies.

KiePe – more languages, more worlds

KiePe studies include language courses offered by other universities in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area (Aalto, Hanken and the University of Helsinki). There is a wide range of different languages, subject areas, skill levels and forms of study available.

Enrolment for KiePe takes place according to each university’s own enrolment schedule, which you can see for each course in RIPA. KiePe studies are aimed at bachelor’s and master’s students.

KiVANET – language courses online

KiVANET offers distance language studies from different higher education institutions in Finland. KiVANET studies are available to bachelor’s, master’s, exchange and doctoral students. Learn more about KiVANET’s studies on the network’s website.

You can apply for KiVANET’s autumn 2026 studies until 13.9.2026. There are three registration periods per year.
