Registration open: SibA Research Days 2026

Registration is now open for SibA Research Days 2026: Change and the Arts, taking place on 5-6 November 2026 at the Helsinki Music Centre. Registration closes on 29 October 2026.

The event brings together researchers, students, artists and practitioners to explore how the arts and research can help us understand and shape societal, cultural, technological and environmental change. The programme includes presentations, keynote sessions, discussions and networking opportunities.

A special highlight for students is the Master Students Forum, a dedicated session for Sibelius Academy master’s students interested in presenting and discussing their research ideas. The forum offers an opportunity to share early-stage projects, receive feedback and engage in conversation about research within the Sibelius Academy community. Students attending the forum are also warmly encouraged to participate in the wider Research Days programme.

Under the theme Change and the Arts, the event examines the evolving relationships between artistic practice, research, communities and society, and asks how the arts can contribute to understanding and creating meaningful change.

Register by 29 October 2026.
