Who can apply for the grant?

Only an attending degree student or Junior Academy student can apply for the grant. Exchange students cannot be awarded the grant. Students who have made good progress in their studies are prioritised in grant decisions.

Applications are submitted in the Aspicore online service. The application must be submitted by 23 January 2021 at 16:00 (Finnish time). Applications submitted after the deadline will not be processed. To avoid last minute rush in the service, please submit your application well before the deadline.

What can the grant be used for?

This year, the focus is on projects that promote the rebuilding of the arts sector and a sustainable future.

Decisions on grant recipients will be made by the Board of the Sibelius Academy Foundation in April 2023. All applicants will be notified of the decision by email.

Please notice that the Sibelius Academy Foundation graduation grant application period has also been extended until Monday, 23 January 2023. This call concerns the general grant application.
