You can now register for language courses at other universities

Through the cross-institutional studies, you can complete studies at another Finnish higher education institution via inter-university cross-study networks. This autumn, the service welcomes a new network: KiePe, a network for pedagogy, teaching, and research in university language centres. Through the network, students at the University of Helsinki, Aalto University, the University of the Arts Helsinki, and Hanken School of Economics can register in elective language courses offered by the other participating universities.

The network significantly broadens students’ language options and learning opportunities. Courses are available in a wide range of languages, from beginner to advanced levels, and are offered in different formats of study and at various times. Each course follows the academic periods of the host university. You can only take part in cross-institutional studies if your bachelor’s or master’s study right at your home university is valid and you are currently registered as attending. You register for the course in Peppi in the same way as you would for courses at your own institution.
