Classical music camps
In chamber music camps, you will have the opportunity to play together with other Junior Academy students. The camps will be organised in two parts – one weekend at the Uniarts Helsinki’s premises at Kallio-Kuninkala and another weekend in the Sibelius Academy’s premises in Helsinki. If you sign up for a camp, you must attend both weekends. The camp culminates in a chamber music matinee on Sunday on the second weekend. You may sign up for a camp even if you have not made any arrangements for a group or connection beforehand. You may receive more information on each camp and instructions on how to sign up by contacting coordinator Aino Hannonen via e-mail.
Jazz, Folk Music and Global Music camps
In ensemble camps, you will have the opportunity to play together with other Junior Academy students. Camps will be organised each academic year both at Uniarts Helsinki’s premises in Kallio-Kuninkala and the Helsinki Music Centre. You may ask the teacher-in-charge of your department for more information on each camp.
