Purchasing hearing protectors and costs for students

Students of the Uniarts Helsinki can purchase personal custom-molded hearing protectors from the hearing protection supplier selected by the university.

For first-year students, the university contributes €20 toward the cost of the hearing protectors when ordered as part of a group order. The student’s share of the cost is therefore €135.

Alternatively, first-year students may order free standard hearing protectors (so-called HiFi earplugs, also known as six-flange earplugs).

Students other than first-year students may order custom-molded hearing protectors at a price of €155. Read more about hearing protection for students.

Using hearing protectors helps protect hearing from the noise exposure associated with music studies and supports hearing health throughout the course of studies.
