Language studies online – apply for university network courses now

KiViTa of­fers courses in lan­guages and com­mu­ni­ca­tion for any­one study­ing at the higher ed­u­ca­tion in­sti­tu­tions of the re­gion – ap­ply by 1st January 2024!

KiViTa, or collaboration in language and communication teaching in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, offers courses in languages and communication, which can be taken by anyone studying at the higher education institutions of the region. The diverse course offerings focus particularly on Finnish and Swedish, multilingual science and professional communication, as well as less frequently taught languages. The courses are primarily organised flexibly as remote and web-based studies.

Registration for courses beginning in January 2024 is open from 11 December 2023 to 1 January 2024. Please read the  instructions for registration on KiViTa’s website. All registrations take place in Sudyinfo (Opintopolku) and students are admitted to the courses on a first-come first-served basis.

Languages online, from sign language to Estonian! The KiVANET university network offers web-based language courses and multilingual UniTandem studies in spring 2024 to the students of the network universities.

Uniarts Helsinki is offering the network a beginner’s course in Hungarian, which is of course also open to our own students.

There are plenty of quota places for Uniarts students on the KiVANET courses. The deadline for registration for spring language courses is 8.1.2024.
