Registration

To register, send an email to lib.sornainen@uniarts.fi with the subject line “Library tour”. Please register no later than the Sunday before your chosen tour. If you are unable to attend, remember to cancel your registration.

Support for information retrieval

The tour focuses on introducing participants to the facilities and collections of the library. Students will learn information retrieval skills through the library instruction sessions provided as part of the university’s mandatory communication studies.

You can also refresh your information retrieval skills through the Moodle courses offered by the library.

If you need support specifically with information retrieval or the use of databases, the library offers one-to-one information retrieval guidance sessions for students and staff. Read more on the library website.

Group tours

If you would like to arrange a tour for an entire teaching group or another larger group, please contact the library: lib.sornainen@uniarts.fi.
