Course and exam registration
You must make a separate registration for all studies that you want to complete. You must register separately for summer studies as well.
Course registration
You can register for courses organised through group or one-to-one instruction in the student information system Peppi or in the mobile app Tuudo. Read the registration instructions for courses, group instruction and one-to-one instruction in Peppi.
The difference between using Peppi and Tuudo for registering is that in Tuudo, you can just register for courses, while in Peppi you can also view your personal study plan (PSP). Read the instructions for compiling a personal study plan.
Remember to check the registration periods for the autumn and spring terms, as these may vary.
Exam registration
Usually, exams take place at the end of the course.
Exams for certain courses can also be completed on general exam days. If it is possible to complete an exam on a general exam day, this information is given in the study guide or by the teacher in charge of the course when you’re participating in it. You can read the available completion methods in the course description included in the study guide.
Literature exams for the Sibelius Academy’s church music and pedagogical studies can sometimes be substituted with literature essays. You can request the essay assignments by emailing siba.tentit@uniarts.fi.
