The university's instructions and news are concentrated on the Student's uniarts website. The most important news is sent by email with a newsletter twice a month. You can also follow the news in the Tuudo mobile app.

Student’s uniarts
On the website, you will find all the instructions for students and the university’s news. From the website, you can move to other student systems.
Uniarts.fi website and event calendar
On the university’s website uniarts.fi you can find the university’s official news and all events in one place. See all our events in the event calendar.
Internal events, such as the Sibelius Academy’s C- and D-level performances, can be found in the Student’s Uniarts. Go to see our internal events.
Study-related communication takes place by email. The most important news for students is also sent as a newsletter twice a month. It’s a good idea to check your email every day. Read more about using email.
Tuudo mobile app
In the app, you can find study information, student card, lunch menus, university news, and you can book university facilities. Read more about using Tuudo.
Viva Engage chat platform
On the discussion platform, you will find topic-specific channels where you can, for example, share event advertisements, engage in social discussion or publish a rental advertisement. The platform also has a community for Academy of Fine Arts technicians to share information on everyday activities, such as exceptions to the use of workshop facilities. Switch to Viva Engage.
Moodle learning platform
Moodle is Uniarts Helsinki’s learning platform that gives the opportunity to use a course area as support for carrying out courses. Course-specific communication takes place in Moodle. Read more about using Moodle.
Teams groups for departments and degree programmes
In a Teams group, teachers and study services can communicate important issues in the degree programme or subject group to students and share documents. Learn more about using Teams.
Info screens
Info screens are used for reminding people of the university’s events and of the most important news that concern students. Info screens also give campus visitors a glimpse into Uniarts Helsinki’s activities.
Other communication channels
We recommend that students follow the social media platforms of the Student Union and the divisions, such as the Instagram account managed by the Student Union @taiyoartsu, the Sibelius Academy students’ account @siba.united and the Theatre Academy students’ account @teakjaosto.
The Student Union also sends out its weekly newsletter to all Uniarts Helsinki students. Students who are interested in activism are encouraged to follow the account @uniartsstudentactivism on Instagram. Read more about the Student Union’s activities.
