Apply for KiViTa’s language and communication courses by 2 April!
The KiViTa network offers courses in languages and communication, which can be taken by anyone studying at the higher education institutions of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. The courses are primarily organised flexibly as remote and web-based studies.
Uniarts Helsinki offers the following courses to the KiViTa network in Spring 2024 and our own students can also apply for them on Studyinfo until 2nd April.
Learn Finnish by Singing, 2 cr
On this course we activate speaking, listening, pronunciation and vocabulary of the Finnish language through singing and music. Teaching sessions are in Töölö in May.
Second official language, Swedish, 3 cr
Swedish for arts students. The course is suitable as a second official language course for the Bachelor’s degree (for those with Finnish as their language of school education). Teaching is online and mainly as intensive weeks in May.
The course offerings for Spring 2024 can be found on KiViTa’s course offering page. Registration for most courses is open from 1 March 9:00 to 2 April 23:59. Please read the instructions for registration on KiViTa’s website. Students are admitted to the courses on a first-come first-served basis.
