The closing date for 2023 Young Artists of the Summer concert applications is Sunday 19 March 2023
The Young Artists of the Summer concert series will take place in August and September 2023. Applications for the concert series are open to Sibelius Academy graduates completing artistic level performance as a part of Master of Music in spring semester 2021 or after that. The applicant must have been graduated as a Master of Music.
The Sibelius Academy will give the selected artists an opportunity to perform, including a concert at the Music Centre, a production package and concert marketing.
The Young Artists concert series is implemented with external funding. The costs of the selected concerts will affect the number of concerts to be held. Approximately 3-5 Young artists of the Summer 2023 concerts will probably be granted.
The concert schedule will be finalised after selecting the performers. The Vice-Dean will decide the extent of production services provided for concerts.
