Facilities for students at the Sibelius Academy

Information on facilities that students can book at the Sibelius Academy.

Students have the right to practise in separate practice rooms and also in classrooms when the are no reservations. Classrooms have been divided into classrooms in shared use and classrooms with special equipment/instruments.

The classrooms that are in shared use are available primarily for the department that has been given priority in reservations. When a room is not used for regular teaching reservations, it is possible for teachers and students of other departments, too, to make one-off reservations in the room. The classrooms with special equipment/instruments are available primarily for the department that the room is assigned to also outside of the regular teaching reservations, which means that the right to use and book these classrooms is restricted.
