Welcome to sing in the opera choir of the Merry Wives of Windsor! This German opera is a comic, based by the play of Shakespeare. In the opera the neighbours and the main roles are middle class, and they are irritating and mocking Falstaff, a noble, who thinks he is behaving by the rules and his etiquette is first class.

The choir conducting student will rehearse the choir and after that the choir will have rehearsals on the stage and the musical rehearsals with the orchestra. In this opera there are also small roles for the choir – you might have a chance now to be a backtalking whispering neighbour! The director is Martina Roos, under her direction it is very easy to throw yourself to a different characters! The conductors are professor Markus Lehtinen and an orchestra conducting student.
