Uniarts Helsinki’s conferment ceremony website published – see the programme and participation prices

The university’s joint master’s and doctoral conferment ceremony will take place on 16–18 August 2024. The conferment ceremony is the largest and most beautiful celebration of the university community and a festive ending to university studies.

Conferment ceremony website published

Uniarts Helsinki’s conferment ceremony website has been published at uniarts.fi/en/conferment-ceremony. On the website, you can find information on the conferment ceremony and the university’s conferment ceremony traditions as well as the conferment ceremony’s programme, which will be specified in the following months, and a price list for participation fees. The conferment ceremony participation fee is determined based on whether you want to participate in all conferment weekend events or only in the conferment act and procession of the actual conferment ceremony day.

Registration opens in January 2024

The registration for the conferment ceremony will open on the conferment ceremony website in January 2024. All unconferred doctors can register for the conferment ceremony. For masters, registration is done in two steps: first, the registration will be open for all those who have graduated during and after 2018. After that, all those who graduated before 2018 can register.

The opening of the registration is announced on Uniarts Helsinki’s website, social media channels and alumni newsletters. We will also send a letter to all alumni who have graduated as a master after 2018 and to unconferred doctors.

Conferment ceremony celebrates the completion of studies

The conferment ceremony is the largest and most beautiful celebration of the university community and a festive ending to university studies. The conferment ceremony consists of three days of rejoicing and celebration that include academic traditions, uplifting speeches, ballroom dances and a magnificent dinner. The conferment ceremony is a unique experience that leaves you with valuable memories.

The conferment ceremony includes a concert, conferment act, procession, church service, non-denominational event and dinner as well as other necessary events that will be specified later.
