Orientation for new students 2024: Uniarts Helsinki as a learning environment

Students complete orientation studies right at the beginning of studies.

‘Uniarts Helsinki as a learning environment’ is a compulsory study unit in bachelor’s studies. Master’s students can choose to complete the study unit on a voluntary basis.

The Academy of Fine Arts organises a separate mandatory orientation period for new master’s students at the start of studies at the beginning of each spring term.

Content and learning outcomes of the study unit

The study unit Uniarts Helsinki as a learning environment (2 cr) consists of the following:

  • An online course that you complete independently on Moodle
  • Orientation Days organised on the Töölö campus for all new students of Uniarts Helsinki on 19 August and 7 October 2024
