How to make a personal study plan and what courses to choose
-
Compile a personal study plan (PSP)
All students of Uniarts Helsinki compile a personal study plan (or PSP for short, HOPS in Finnish) that defines their course of studies.
-
Registration for the courses
The Uniarts Helsinki’s course selection can be found in the Study guide.
-
Optional studies
In addition to studies that are offered within your degree programme and home academy, you can also complete studies from other units’ selection. This page provides a summary of studies that are available to all Uniarts Helsinki students.
-
Pedagogical studies
You can work as a teacher after you have completed teachers’ pedagogical studies. At the Sibelius Academy, major subject studies may also include pedagogical studies of different scope that do not provide general pedagogical qualification.
-
Working Life Studies
All Uniarts Helsinki students can include studies in career skills in their degree. These studies give students tools that are needed in working professionally in the arts sector, pursuing a career as an entrepreneur and reflecting on one’s own path as an artist.
-
Language and communication studies
All bachelor’s degrees include mandatory language and communication studies. On this page you’ll find information about completing them.
-
Study path models for the Academy of Fine Arts
The model study path helps you schedule your studies so that all courses can be completed within the target time of the degree.
-
