Uniarts Helsinki’s season event ticket
Information how to get season event ticket and how to use it
Students at Uniarts Helsinki may attend performances at the Sibelius Academy’s and Theater Academy’s own facilities free of charge by using a season ticket. Exhibitions in the Academy of Fine Arts’ own galleries are always free of charge.
The season ticket is given at the information desks at Uniarts Helsinki after showing proof of your valid study right.
Sibelius Academy events
The season ticket gives one person to entry to the Sibelius Academy’s ticketed events.
Concert rooms Black Box, Sonore, Camerata, Organo
The concert usher gives out tickets at the guest counter in the lower foyer of the Music Centre when you have presented your season ticket. Ticket distribution starts one hour before the start of the concert. A quota of free tickets is reserved for each event, from which tickets will be distributed until the quota is full. Tickets cannot be booked in advance.
Music Centre main concert hall
The seats for staff and students are on the balcony, unless otherwise instructed in Artsi. You cannot apply for a free ticket beforehand. Check with the concert producer whether the season ticket entitles you to enter. You can find the producer’s contact information in our event calendar in connection with the event.
Sibelius Academy’s Symphony Orchestra’s concerts
For students and staff of the Uniarts Helsinki, a limited number of complimentary tickets are reserved. Tickets cannot be reserved in advance. The ticket can be redeemed either through the link on the Artsi concert-specific news article, or collected on the day of the concert one hour before the concert begins from the main foyer at the guest desk. Please be prepared to verify your identity with a student ID card, attendance certificate, or season ticket.
Concert outside Helsinki Music Centre
Check with the concert producer whether the season ticket entitles you to enter. You can find the producer’s contact information in our event calendar in connection with the event.
Theatre Academy performances
A season ticket, student card or certificate of attendance entitles you to two free tickets (cardholder + guest) to all performances at the Theatre Academy. The free tickets are booked using the electronic ticket booking system. When booking, select the participant type “participant” and the ticket type “TaiY / Aalto Elo / Näty / TaiYn Open (= open university)”.
Tickets can be reserved for each performance through the event calendar.
Claiming and canceling tickets at the Theatre Academy
When you arrive at the performance, register at the ticket desk 20 minutes before the start of the show to claim your ticket. The ticket desk is in the lobby of the Theatre Academy. You must visit the desk to claim your ticket for all performances held at the Theatre Academy and be able to provide proof of your right to a free ticket when asked.
